WHITE PAPER - In this paper we compare the major differences between three software deployment models: hardware appliances, virtual machine (VM) appliances and multitenant software‐as‐a‐service (Saas) – against a traditional software delivery model. The goal is to help independent software vendors (ISVs) make informed decisions about these deployment models.
